Avi Mannis Vice President of Marketing Avi Mannis oversees branding, advertising, and online experience. Prior to this role, he was Vice President of Revenue Management and Schedule Planning. In that capacity, Mr. Mannis played a key role in planning Hawaiian's expansion into Asia-Pacific markets. Before joining Hawaiian in July 2007, Mr. Mannis was a principal at The Boston Consulting Group in New York City and Paris, France. Mr. Mannis is a graduate of Brown University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Old World Archaeology and Art. He went on to earn his Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. He sits on the board of directors of the Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO).
Blaine Miyasato Vice President, Product Development A 25-year employee of the company, Blaine Miyasato became Vice President of Product Development on June 15, 2010. He directs Hawaiian's marketing, advertising, promotions, brand management, and customer products offered inflight and at airports, and also serves as the principal liaison with the State of Hawaii for airport development. Most recently, Mr. Miyasato served as Vice President of Customer Services where he led a company task force to implement a series of operational improvements that has made Hawaiian the nation's leader in on-time performance and one of the industry's best at baggage handling. He also led the development of Hawaiian's award-winning "Hawaii Starts Here" onboard service program highlighting Hawaii's culture, music, and natural beauty.
