| Join the PATA-Hawaii Chapter as we countdown to the 2011 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Leaders Meeting. In a few weeks, the heads of twenty-one Asia Pacific member economies will converge on our state for a series of meetings designed to foster growth and prosperity throughout the region by facilitating economic cooperation as well as expanding trade and investment. Gregg Yamanaka, President and CEO of APEC 2011 Hawai`i, a non-profit corporation, will talk about the preparation leading up to this momentous event as well as provide insight into what the travel industry, as well as our guests, can expect. Jasmine Tso will share a preview of the marketing and public relations initiatives the APEC Hawaii Host Committee has developed in positioning Hawaii as an attractive place for business and economic investment in anticipation of the 20,000+ incoming APEC attendees this November.
